Hello. Welcome.
It is REALLY Good to Meet You.
I'm Dr. Leslie Fuller, a naturopathic physician, medical educator, and lifelong learner dedicated to helping people live a fuller life—in every sense of the word.
A Fuller Life, LLC, was started in 2005 as a unique option in the Health and Wellness Field. Learn a little more below!
A Little More About Me
With over 20 years of health focused clinical experience and a deep commitment to integrative, patient-centered care, I specialize in treating complex chronic health conditions, with an expertise in neurological disorders, endocrine issues, and pain syndromes. My clinical approach blends the best of evidence-based medicine with naturopathic principles, using targeted nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle interventions, and parenteral IV therapies to get to the root of the problem—not just manage symptoms.
A Dual Focus: Clinical Care & Education
In addition to my clinical work, I’m a passionate educator serving as a Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine Program at the University of Western States and as an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Clinical Nutrition Program. I've also spent over a decade as clinical and academic faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where I led clinical rotations, designed neurology-focused curricula, and served as Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education.
Expertise in Neurologic and Nutritional Therapies
Much of my research, teaching, and clinical focus lies at the intersection of nutrition and neurology. I’m a subject matter expert in clinical nutritional strategies for neurologic conditions, including migraines, seizures, neurodegeneration, and post-viral complications such as long COVID. I also regularly use and teach IV therapies, including high-dose vitamin C and magnesium sulfate, in cases where patients need targeted, therapeutic support.
A Collaborative and Whole-Person Approach
Whether I’m consulting on complex neurologic cases, supporting neurodiverse patients, collaborating with other professionals, or mentoring research on nutrition, pain, and brain health, my goal is the same: to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that empowers healing—both in the clinic and the community.
Advocacy and Education
I completed my undergraduate studies in Human Physiology at University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), where my fascination with the complexities of the brain and nervous system sparked. During my time in undergrad, I began working for a non-profit, called World Wheelchair Sports, where the goal was to get middle and high school-aged kids with neurological disabilities involved in local athletic programs. It is this work that propelled me toward natural medicine, with an ongoing desire to ‘do neurology differently’ than the current, dysfunctional system. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in 2009 to pursue this passion.
A Fuller Life Roots and Growth
A Fuller Life, LLC has been offering services focused on health and wellness in Oregon for over 20 years, providing comprehensive and integrative care to patients while supporting healthcare professionals through consulting and education. Originally founded in 2005 as a personal training company in Portland, Oregon, A Fuller Life has continuously evolved.
With a strong foundation in movement and wellness, the company transitioned into the field of naturopathic medicine in 2009, broadening its services to encompass a more comprehensive approach to healing. Today, A Fuller Life focuses on three primary areas: naturopathic patient care, physician consulting, and medical education development. By combining these efforts, the company plays a critical role in advancing integrative healthcare and helping practitioners implement evidence-based, holistic strategies into their practice.
A Fuller Life naturopathic healthcare specializes in naturopathic management of neurologic conditions, hormone balance, and deprescribing strategies. The company is committed to empowering patients to take charge of their health by addressing the root causes of illness rather than just managing symptoms. This patient-centered approach integrates functional medicine principles, nutritional interventions, botanical therapies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
In addition to patient care, A Fuller Life offers physician consulting services, helping healthcare providers navigate complex cases, integrate naturopathic protocols alongside conventional treatments, and explore safe and effective deprescribing opportunities for patients on long-term pharmaceutical regimens. Through professional guidance and collaboration, A Fuller Life supports medical professionals in enhancing patient outcomes while minimizing unnecessary medication use.
Another key pillar of A Fuller Life’s mission is medical education development. By creating and delivering high-quality educational programs, the company equips healthcare providers with the knowledge and tools needed to incorporate naturopathic principles into their practice. This includes training on functional medicine approaches, hormone health, neurologic conditions, and deprescribing strategies, ensuring that providers can offer comprehensive, integrative solutions to their patients.
